The Birth of a Dragon

Session 7 - More Sleep + More Food = Less Pain

A full month passed, and I was ready to get back under the needle. Session 7 was on Thursday, October 5th, 2006 at 3:00pm.

After the last session being so rough on me, I knew that I needed to better prepare myself for this one. I got plenty of sleep, and made sure that I ate a good meal before I went in. I even took a pack of peanut butter crackers with me so that if I was feeling the need for more nurishment, it would be available. What a difference it made! This session was a piece of cake.

We got quite a bit done. We finished up the scales on the tip of the dragon's tail, and also did some belly scales. Then the work on the flowers began. The big chrysanthemum on my shoulder got done, as well as some of the cherry blossoms. We got the flames on the dragon's lower legs done, and also finished up the water by my elbow.

Quite a bit was done this go-around. We didn't finish it up, but we made some good progress. We worked on it for 4 hours this time, and that puts the total up to 31 hours.

The pictures were taken the following morning after I removed the bandages and took a shower.
